Bituminous waterproofing coating

Bituminous waterproofing coating is a type of waterproofing material that is commonly used in construction applications. It is made from a mixture of bitumen and mineral filler, such as sand or felt fibers, which is then applied to a surface to prevent water penetration. Bituminous coatings are used to protect a wide range of surfaces and structures, from foundations and roofs to tanks and pipelines.

Hot-applied bituminous coatings are typically melted and applied to a surface in a heated form, while cold-applied coatings are applied at room temperature. Self-adhesive coatings come with a pre-applied adhesive layer, which allows for easy installation.
